While waiting for the tour to start at the Charleston Tea Plantation, this afternoon, I noticed this large butterfly flittering around. I was able to grab a few shots before he went flying off.
The smell of Gardinias are everywhere this weekend. This is a favorite time of year.
Each year along with the Masters comes the Dogwoods and Azaleas to Aiken.
All around Aiken, South Carolina, the woods are snow white this week as the Kalmia reaches full bloom. This popular plant’s name has been used many times in the Aiken area. Spring is always a wonderful time of year in Aiken, South Carolina. The flowers, especially the azaleas, are in full bloom and everyting is colorful. While walking around the campus of the University of South Carolina Aiken, I ran across this beautiful sight.
